Our Botanicals – ethically wild-harvested or organically cultivated: “Ethically wild-harvested” means that a plant growing in its original, natural environment has been harvested mindfully, ensuring the continued and abundant growth of its species. “Organically cultivated” ensures that no artificial herbicides, pesticides or chemical fertilizers have been used.
Our Organic Essential Oils: Hundreds of years ago, Alchemists defined an Essential Oil as “the soul of a plant, the carrier of its life energy in a concentrated form.” We use oils that have been distilled under low pressure (a process that preserves the maximum number of active components beneficial for therapeutic purposes).
Our Organic Carrier Oils: We use the finest quality cold-pressed, unrefined vegetable, seed, and nut oils, from plants and trees that have been organically cultivated and/or grown without chemicals. Our Organic Apple Cider Vinegar: Apple Cider Vinegar contains 19 of the 22 minerals required by your body for maintenance, growth and repair. When plant material is steeped in vinegar, it is further enhanced with nourishing and toning properties, adding a rich supply of vitamins and minerals.
Our Organic Shea Butter: We procure Fair Traded and certified organic Shea Butter from women’s cooperatives in Eastern and Western regions of Africa. It is extracted manually, naturally high in olein and therapeutic unsaponifiables, and is one of the finest botanical substances for keeping the skin soft, toned, and radiant.
Our Organic Floral Hydrosols: Hand-crafted through the distillation of freshly harvested aromatic plants, Hydrosols are perfectly acid balanced. This makes them excellent for skin care. We can’t speak highly enough about these beautiful Floral Waters. They are, quite simply, exquisite. Because we use only freshly harvested flowers to produce them, the season determines the exact formula that is available at any given time.
